  • Wednesday is a good day to go with the Murwillumbah Farmers Market (Caldera Farmers Market), with local produce from the region, every Wednesday from 7-11am at the Murwillumbah Showgrounds on Queensland Road, Murwillumbah.
  • There’s also the Murwillumbah Showground Country Markets (not to be mistaken for the Farmers Market) with fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, flowers, fruit trees, farm fresh honey and coffee. Held every fourth Sunday of the month, at Murwillumbah Showgrounds.
  • If you like a 70s style market, then there’s also the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market with food, music, coffee, clothing, books, plants, art & craft, and second hand. Third Sunday of every month, 8-2pm at the Buttery, Kyogle Road, Uki.
  • Or try straight from the growers if you can’t make the markets. Mate & Matts on Cudgen Road is just off Tweed Coast Road heading into Kingscliff. Purchase locally grown fruit and veg, free range eggs, local honey, herbs and sometimes flowers in their little shed surrounded by produce fields.
