Coolangatta Hotel Accommodation

Our fully self contained Coolangatta hotel accommodation offers guests the option of a self catered holiday. With a completely equipped and functional chefs kitchen, you can cook to your hearts content. Downstairs beside the pool there is also a BBQ station that is free to use. Handy for grilling the catch of the day when you go shopping at Scales Seafood, Tweed Heads.

With thirty five kilometres of coast, rivers and estuaries, Tweed Heads is famous for fresh local seafood. Its the freshest seafood you can get, period. For local prawns, oysters, crabs, Moreton Bay or Balmain Bugs, fish or mussels, this is where you’ll find it. Take it back to Coolangatta. Whether you cook it in the apartment, or on the BBQ it’s sure to be as fresh as you can get.

Tweed Heads is also a handy destination to stock up on provisions. Wednesday is a good day to go with the Murwillumbah Farmers Market (Caldera Farmers Market), with local produce from the region, every Wednesday from 7-11am at the Murwillumbah Showgrounds on Queensland Road, Murwillumbah.

Or try straight from the growers if you can’t make the markets. Mate & Matts on Cudgen Road is just off Tweed Coast Road heading into Kingscliff. Purchase locally grown fruit and veg, free range eggs, local honey, herbs and sometimes flowers in their little shed surrounded by produce fields.

How’s that for a day or two out? And that’s just to go shopping. Every day is an adventure when you stay in at our Coolangatta hotels. The Sebel Coolangatta to be sure. Book your holiday accommodation on the Gold Coast now.
